AZ-140: Configure and Operate Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
The Configure and Operate Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop course is a four-day programme for Azure administrators who want to plan, deliver and manage virtual desktops and remote apps on Azure for any device. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, participants cover networking for Azure Virtual Desktop, host pools and session hosts, session host images, FSLogix, performance and health monitoring, and automating day-to-day management tasks.
The course is aimed at those who will work as Azure Virtual Desktop administrators, collaborating closely with Azure administrators, architects and Microsoft 365 administrators. It assumes solid Azure administration skills and prior experience with virtualization, networking, identity, storage, backup and restore, and disaster recovery, plus familiarity with on-premises virtual desktop infrastructure as it relates to migrating to Azure. Experience with tools such as Azure PowerShell and Cloud Shell is expected.
Completing the course prepares you for the AZ-140 exam and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty certification.
