AI-3025: Work smarter with AI

Note: There is currently no assessment for this course

Take your first confident steps with AI at work. This beginner-level course is written for business users, whether individual contributors or managers, who are new to AI and want a plain-language introduction to what it is, what it can do, and how it can support everyday tasks. You will see how generative AI differs from the tools you already use, and why grounding AI in your own work information produces more useful results.

Along the way you will discover how AI agents can help with tasks that involve several steps, and how to review AI-generated content with good judgment so you stay in control of the outcome. Microsoft Copilot is used throughout as a practical example, but the focus is on building confidence rather than product expertise. The course is delivered as a short, concept-focused session without hands-on labs.

No prior AI experience or technical background is needed, only familiarity with everyday productivity applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. It is the natural starting point for business users and a good springboard into more role-specific or product-specific AI training.
