CompTIA CySA+ Cybersecurity Analyst
The CompTIA CySA+ Cybersecurity Analyst course is designed for security professionals who detect, analyze and respond to threats in security operations and vulnerability management roles. It suits incident response analysts, SOC analysts and vulnerability analysts with roughly four years of hands-on experience, and knowledge equivalent to Network+ and Security+ is recommended.
Participants learn to spot and investigate suspicious activity across networks, endpoints and cloud environments, and to use industry-standard tools such as SIEM and EDR platforms. You will identify, prioritize and mitigate vulnerabilities using risk-based approaches, and investigate and respond to incidents with structured processes and real-world techniques. The course also stresses clear communication, so you can report security findings and risks to stakeholders through reports and dashboards, and shows how to apply security practices in cloud and hybrid environments.
This course prepares you for the CompTIA CySA+ CS0-004 exam, the new version of the certification, or for CS0-003 until that version retires in English on December 22, 2026. Both exams combine multiple-choice and performance-based questions, and the certification gives you a respected way to show your skills in threat detection and incident response.
