Security Engineering on AWS
In this 3-day course, we take a detailed look at how to design and implement a secure architecture using AWS products and services.
Suggested prerequisites: Architecting on AWS and AWS Security Essentials, or equivalent practical knowledge and IT security practices.
The Security Engineering on AWS course is designed to help individuals understand how to securely use Amazon Web Services (AWS) in light of increasing cyber threats and data breaches.
This intermediate-level course lasts three days and includes presentations, hands-on labs, demonstrations, and group exercises. Participants will learn about managing identities and roles, provisioning accounts, and monitoring API activities for unusual behavior. The course covers essential topics such as protecting data stored on AWS, generating and monitoring logs to identify security incidents, and investigating these incidents using AWS services.
The course is aimed at security engineers, security architects, cloud architects, and cloud operators across various sectors. To get the most out of this training, attendees should have completed courses like AWS Security Essentials or AWS Security Fundamentals, as well as Architecting on AWS. A solid understanding of IT security practices and familiarity with the AWS Cloud is also recommended.
