The AWS Cloud Essentials for Business Leaders course is designed to teach the basic ideas of cloud computing and how a cloud strategy can help businesses achieve their goals. It covers the benefits and opportunities that cloud computing offers, as well as important topics like security and compliance, which will help participants engage in meaningful discussions with business leaders.
This is a fundamental course that lasts for 4 hours and includes various activities such as presentations, case studies, role-playing, group exercises, and knowledge checks. By the end of the course, participants will be able to explain how information technology (IT) contributes to business transformation, describe the value of using cloud services across different industries, define the main features of cloud computing, explain the cloud business model, identify essential security practices in the cloud, and use the Cloud Value Framework to illustrate the business value of cloud solutions.
The course is aimed at Line of Business (LoB) owners and executives, and no prior experience in IT or cloud computing is necessary for attendees.
