Advanced Architecting on AWS
This 3-day course gets us deeper into the various products and services that are available for architecting solutions on AWS
Suggested prerequisites: Architecting on AWS. At least one year of prior experience architecting workloads on AWS.
The Advanced Architecting on AWS course is designed to help participants tackle architectural challenges using AWS services.
Over 3 days, the course covers various topics that go beyond basic cloud infrastructure, focusing on managing multiple AWS accounts, hybrid connectivity, networking, container services, automation tools for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), security measures, data management, edge services, migration strategies, and cost management. Participants will engage in discussions, hands-on labs, and assessments to deepen their understanding of these topics.
The course aims to teach attendees how to apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework, secure Amazon S3 connections, manage permissions with AWS Organizations and Single Sign-On, and design hybrid networks that comply with security standards. Participants will also learn to configure Transit Gateways, explore container solutions, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and implement DDoS protection. They will gain skills in securing data with AWS Key Management Service and setting up data lakes for efficient data management.
The course includes practical labs where participants will configure Transit Gateways, deploy applications using Amazon ECS, and set up data lakes. Additionally, they will learn about edge services, cost optimization tools, and effective migration practices.
The intended audience includes cloud architects and solutions architects with prior knowledge of core AWS services. Prerequisites include experience with AWS services or relevant certifications. The course concludes with a Capstone Project, allowing participants to demonstrate their knowledge by addressing real-world scenarios related to AWS architecture.
